I really wanted to find a polish that can matte out. A lady at the counter had recommended I give this a try and see if I liked it. I found this little bundle and thought it was a steal! I haven't tried butter London nailpolish, but I've seen a lot of polishes that I wanted to try out (because color selections).

During my Nordstrom adventure, I decided to stop by the MAC counter and pick up a couple of new polishes. I haven't tried MAC polishes either so this was going to be a new experience. The polishes are a little limited. There wasn't many colors to my liking, and I was kinda skeptical on the finishes. I did end up using the black lacquer and It seemed a little sheer to me in the beginning but after a couple of coats the color began to build. I'm not sure If I'm a total fan of the formula on these polishes but I'm going to test it out more and see if there is a way to get that finish I want. I also got another eyeliner, MAC Eye Khol, Smolder. I like this for my upper lashes but for my lowerlash, NO THANKS! 

I'm excited to try these products out more and see If i end up purchasing more for nail products! 

(Keep in mind that I've had these products for awhile, just haven't used them yet :X)

Today is Friday. A special Friday because it's my best friend's birthday today! buuuuuut other then that, I'm pretty much in a gloomy, lonely, Friday mood. I don't know whats been up these past couple of days, but I've been feeling so neglected... Listen to me, I sound like a lost puppy trying to find it's way. It's pathetic, right? I'm hungry for some loving and that's what I need! Sure, there are plenty who love me in their own special way, but i'm looking for love that I should've had since day one something is stopping me from being happy and satisfied with him. I hate talking about relationships on the internet. I'll end it here...

The last couple of days have been unbearable for me. I'm stressing over a list of things right now! I hate it. Sometimes, I almost feel like when I'm stressing out or struggling with something, it is a reoccurring thing for me to be angry at people around me. And that's not good! Especially those who try to control or change me. The worst is when they make me feel less than what I am, As if I'm not good enough. I feel like I dont need to change who I am. I am normal though; I get mad, angry, sad and happy, like a normal person should. I have feelings. But I feel angry all the time lately and I feel like It's slowly becoming a part of me. I just want to hate everything that's not making me happy. The bigger issues, the little things too, the girls i can't stand all contributes to all of this. I hurt the person that I love, over my actions and the things I said, I was mean. But I wasn't wrong.

I don't know what I need in my life right now.

aero club san diego

My classmates and I took a little field trip to The Aero Club , which is more a whiskey bar - but has a decent amount of vodka selections in town. The presentation is presenting information on how bars pick and choose the vodka they market, the ratio of guest who order vodka compared to other beverages, etc. I've never been to a bar that was so easy going though. I don't ever go to bars, maybe here and there, but it's not always my first selection in getting a little party going on. I prefer a nice wine or cocktail. This project is great, I'm actually learning a lot about vodka and the bar tending industry. I'm not a heavy drinker but to me its really about science in the drink. I'm not all that great in math either, so 'portions' and 'volume' are probably my lease favorite words to hear. Besides that, the bar industry is very interesting because depending on the location and "design" can change the atmosphere  or environment in that particular business and risk who comes in and out of the bar. Less people, less business. But this place had plenty of that with a great well known bar. I think might be my new favorite place. :)

I felt like designing once again and created this one. I'm having fun doing these. My aim for this design was a small boutique or private museum, real estate even (maps in the back), private designer,etc. I love the fonts used in this one and the simple details like the geometric shapes, triangles and lines. I think it gives it a nice touch to graphs and lines. :)

I felt inspired to design something yesterday night. For some reason this was a easy go at it. I like how I designed this one. In my opinion, it sleek and professional -- in my vision, the background would have a nice matte/gloss transition with the spikes. I can see an "independent business" (something modern or urban-like) can use this. I don't know - just and idea. I guess it's always subject to change -- But I guess this will do for now. I think this is how i'm going to display my designs or "concepts" and ideas. I'm trying to find a way where you are able to make a template for others to use as a free be but still be able to edit it to their specific liking. Hmm. Ideas...

Alright, so typically I don't watch cable TV. Lately - I have been flipping through different shows I can watch on Netflix or even stream online. Here are some of my current favorites at the moment. (I can't give you specific links, but you can research it) Not in any specific order.

CW Gossip Girl - recently Netflix has updated there Gossip Girl episodes. Decided to finished the last couple episodes I didn't get to catch. (current: season 5) These episodes are really intense! I stopped ready the Gossip Girl series after the 4th book, and I think there are tons still available. I grew up with this show and got many "fashion" ideas from this show. It's crazy how it was a "teen" show and now everyone is so grown up dealing with their "adult" issues (which some, I can relate to). I've been stuck on these episodes, they seriously keep me at the edge of my seat. OH & the soundtracks are AMAZING! 

BRAVO Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles- i got hooked on this show after seeing a couple of the employees. how people design their homes, and the price range is OUTRAGEOUS . If only I were rich. Haha. The gentlemen on this show are very convincing and its exciting to see how everything pans out. 

ABC FAMILY Pretty Little Liars - it took me a while to actually get caught up with this show. Netflix does provide this. I have to say, I was amaze with the content had in this show. It was not only aimed for teens and the realism adulthood and real situations. It's mysterious and unpredictable during the season. Twisted, really. Again, this show is based from a series of books. I personally like a good drama and mystery especially with a twist.  OH & the OUTFITS!!! 

BRAVO Flipping Out - haha, this show is pure comedy. He does have a great sense in style and his OCD is intriguing. Real Estate agents and contractors do amazing jobs putting everything together. This one just has a spice of drama added to it. 

SPIKE Bar Rescue - Because... I'm changing my major, I'm trying to keep an open mind on event planning and hospitality (especially exploring bar tending). According to the show and I love how it breaks it down to the science. (Ex. A bars aim, what kind of customers are they trying to approach, and how to create certain drinks without wasting products, etc) All very interesting to me.

bdelliumtools | A couple of months ago I've ben trying to find a new set of brushes to use. After doing some research I decided that I wanted to try http://bdelliumtools.com/. My first thought about these brushes were that they had different color hairs. I went on this company's website and read a little bit about it and got me interested even more. These are antibacterial and eco-friendly make up brushes! How awesome is that! They have a lot of brushes to choose from and I am very excited to try them out. (Especially the green ones!)

NARS Blush 'Taj Mahal' [x]

I don't know what it is about this color but it looks so pretty up close! It's the perfect color for a burnt orange with golden shimmers! I think it would work out nicely for the transition from Summer to Fall. I look at it everytime I go to Sephora and I always swatch it on my hand. But for some reason, I end up skipping out on it. I think this is what I should pick up next time. <3

my face looks really gross.
but here you can sorta spot the different in lighting and how the night hits my face. you can see the blush, highlight and a little bit of the contour. 
*excuse the blemishes, pimples, and scars. my face is going through its own issues. i personally can see it. can you?

i was trying to experiment with how to contour and bronze my face. i am pretty tan (esp. this time around transition from the summer) and sometimes the pigmentation on some contour shades can be difficult to pull off (too orange, shimmers, not dark enough). let's just say, i tried to make my face appear more slimmer (note. i have a round face and chubby cheeks). i really do want to achieve a solid application to apply highlight powder/cream. but like i said before, because i am tan its hard for me to bronze or contour sometimes - why not highlight more than! and this is what i did. results? eh i could use some practice. but i like the method and i can't wait to get try this out more and master it. >:] bwaha
