notes: i have no black pants or white tops in my closet :( sadly. I went to Ross and seriously came out of the stores 15 minutes later with an outfit I can wear to this floor interview with LUSH earlier this afternoon! I think it's so comfy and I can almost fall asleep with those jeggings, they are so comfortable and I can actually move in them (me and jeans, have a bad relationship. haha)

ANNNNNDDDD THEN.... 

I GOT THE JOB!! WOO HOO!!

after months and months of searching for a job, even temporary ones... I finally found something I can do before school starts getting crazy again! YES YES YES! No doubt, I honestly miss working (in the Dental field too) because I would get way bored, and it just gets annoying when you got adult things to do like pay bills, bills and more bills.... Anyways, my point is, i hated the fact i was jobless for awhile because I like to be busy and move and do something.

Again, this is just a brief understanding of how the interviewing process is at LUSH. It could be different standards and training in different locations. So I don't know how all interviews are going to be like. I can only tell you from my experience.

Floor Trial Interview: So shortly after the hiring party I got a called back on Monday saying they would like to see me tomorrow (Today) to do a floor trial which is pretty much observing you and seeing how you communicate with others. The manager told me straight up that "she knows how i work so far, i've seen you communicate, i know how you are like... " Basically,to observe how I can communicate and sale a product. Another demonstration was shown and I think that was based on learning information quickly and applying in conversation. For instance, learning about certain ingredients and what they do to the skin. Instead of remembering all the ingredients just remember the key components(for example: Cocoa butter, soothes and is found in most of the lotions) She told me that everything we learned at the hiring party is going to be done the same thing but with a co-worker. So that was easy enough and she pulled me aside afterwards and said that they wanted to hire me! Of course, this is temporary till after the holidays, let's just hope they like me enough to keep me woot woot ;)! She told me all the good stuff and how everything works and gave me some papers to sign and 2 forms of ID. She also informed me that she really wants to get all of the other new girls in by Sunday and that we will keep in touch!!OH THIS IS EXCITING!!
