all the holiday stuff + holiday LUSH

Merry Christmas! Now it's time to celebrate an ending to a great year!

I had this laying around at home and thought that it was the perfect time to test this out and see what this is all about. Last year around this time I had tested out the Babycakes Cupcake Maker, and thought that this was a great way to make little treats for friends and family PLUS the products are way cute and portable. I was a little skeptical about it, being that this would be the first time I'd ever make a cake pop. I went to the store and bought cake mix, thinking that it would be the easiest way and fastest way to test this product out. Wrong - I didn't even use the Cake mix I purchased, I actually had all of the ingredients in my own kitchen. I read the instructions that came inside of the box and had a couple of basic recipes. I made it to my liking and I think I did a pretty good first trial.

Sugar Scrub
Price: $5.95

I hate that this product is limited edition. I am going to try to purchase more of these because it smells amazing and is a useful item! I gave this product for a couple of Christmas gifts this year and hope it comes in handy. It has orange and rosewood and my new favorite scent, sandalwood oils! There is something about that scent that makes me go crazy and just enjoy smelling it in the shower and bath. I am such a fan of exfoliantes and body scrubs because I feel like it remove more dirt and dead skin and helps blood flow around early stages of stretch marks. I do have a couple and it has benefited me plenty!

2012 - mini recap

No comments:

It is getting more closer to the end of another year and I keep contemplating about the things I've discovered about myself and of course my goals. Do I feel accomplished? Sure. I'm getting myself back into working, still trying to find another dental assisting opportunity. Attending school and still managing to have some relaxation. This year wasn't as stressful :)

Honest to say, 2012 is one of the best years I've had so far. I mean sure there were a couple of things that I wished didn't happen, but overall this year has been the most memorable and enjoyable yet.

Even school was great. I took one class this semester but I thought I'd check this class out before I actually get involved in it as my major. I decided that I love it a lot and I'm interested in finding more about this field! But I'm still undecided where exactly I want to branch out when I finish. I decided to take a couple more classes and hopefully in about a year and a half, I'll get a degree in it! I am excited!

But the year isn't over yet!

LUSH REVIEW: Phoenix Rising Bath Bomb

No comments:

Phoenix Rising
Price: 3.5 oz $6.95
Scent: Spicy & Fruity
Key Ingredients: Cocoa Butter (softens), Jojoba oil (moisturize), Cinnamon Lead Oil (scent) & Cinnamon Stick (infuses w/ water for a spicy relaxing bath)

Break.Down: The first thing that I noticed about this particular bath bomb is the gorgeous colors. Purple and goldish-yellow will forever be my favorite combo of colors (Lakers Fan hah). Today while at work, I purchased this and my co-worker told me that she loved what I had picked out and she said it's so much fun to watch it fizz especially with this one. Like I said, I was more drawn to the color but after looking at it and reading up on what to expect in this product, APPLE-CINNAMON in the description, pretty much convinced me to buy it.

Recommendations: I personally would recommend this to those who aren't afraid to get their tub all colorful and all sexy. This is a great one for those who are bathing with their partner (OHLALA!) ;), A little something to spice up the mood with a great aroma. It's not as fruity or citrusy as some bath bombs, this one is more calm with a mild cinnamon scent. Or for an individual who enjoys the scent of apple cinnamon and a soothing and relaxing bath.

CLOSE UP

Watch this beautiful bath bomb fizz in the tub and create this beautiful ray of color from purple, gold, to a beautiful blue = all mixed together is this luxuries bath water color that is so relaxing and sexy all in one.

I love this bath bomb! xo
