want: ombre hair

1 comment:

I don't know why, but I am so obsessed with ombre hair! It looks so pretty and funky at the same time! What a twist!! My big thing is... deciding if I should: do neutral shades that blend with my natural hair color or go with the bright/purple/blue colors? Ahh!

I look at the picture up above and love the braid! I haven't done a braid in awhile and my hair is the perfect length to put it out!

I love this plaid shirt and the whole messy/cute look I pulled off today. Wore dark jeans and black boots. Was going to a little girls birthday party on this beautiful day!

This is what I have been working on. For my small Etsy shop, I decided that I also wanted incorporate my graphic design history and make printable Wedding invitations. I also have other ideas for it and I'm always excited to share it and see what happens!

There is something about wedding invitations that I enjoy because it can be very fancy to simple and modern. I feel that every bride has a budget and with my designs, they are easy to use, printable and budget friendly, ideally for small or intimate weddings.

Ah! I can't wait to see where this goes!

New Job and extra stuff

No comments:

Hi everyone,

I'm so happy because I got offered a job! I'm working front office again in a small dental office. Pretty much applied, got a phone call, did a interview/work interview, and was got the job shortly after that. That was on Tuesday, went to work yesterday but was not feeling myself and got to leave early.

Yesterday was an overall bad day, I don't really like talking about my problems but just know that I was really upset at the end of the night. But, everything is okay now and I'm just trying to put myself back together.

My schedule is pretty awesome, I'm working part time with the opportunity to work full time in a couple months and then if the opportunity comes up, I will be an office manager! My co worker, is pregnant and I feel like she was looking for someone who can manage an office while she goes on maternity leave. She is such a sweetheart and most def a woman of wisdom. I love it! She easy to talk to which makes work even more fun!

YES! I'm just so excited! It's all finally coming together for me!

8 things I've learned since turning 25

No comments:
8 THINGS I'VE LEARNED SINCE TURNING 25

1. You rise & fall. Especially in this economy! I can only speak for myself, but It has been really hard finding a job. I don't have high expectations when working in my main field, but the places that I've worked for have been crappy and obnoxious offices. People have told me "something will open up" & that is what I'm hoping for. Keep your head up in all situations!

2. Make that Money and be done with stupid debt. At this point, the average student like myself, has dues to pay: bills, student loans, and car payment. What ever you'r lifestyle is, whatever hobbies you may have are all at your expense now, you can't relay on your parents. Having a stable income is key and having a financial plan is important. We need to set goals on what we spend and what we spend it on. When money gets tight, spend wisely. Aim for: cheap, sales, and budget! BUT, we can't forget those who have debt! Small credit card store debt is okay to build credit, but remember to pay bills on time! Organize your spending!

3. Don't Drink too much, Stay Healthy & Don't neglect the Docs! I'm such a hypocrite for saying this but... "you are, what you eat & drink" All that alcohol can make you gain weight like crazy! Sugary pretty cocktails but dangggg colories in a glass! Drink light, and not too much! Keep it classy and not trashy. We are at this point in age where are metabolism is slowing down and sometimes we wish had our high school body back! Reality is, stay healthy, work out, and eat right to maintain a healthy body. Yeah, who am I kidding... I don't do anything of that! But, I do watch what I eat, haha! ;) & Get yearly check ups with your doctor to make sure your body is working right and if your sexually active, always get checked and stay protected!

4. Relationships can work. Even though these are the peak years to be single, it can also be the best years to share with someone you care for. You learn to appreciate every relationship you have and analyze the mistakes you've made in them, to help you grow. Building a foundation in a relationship requires two people (I've always been told this), so always hear what you'r partner has to say and build together, don't break the structure. Communication is important! If you believe that this relationship can work, then make it work. Single life, enjoy new and exciting things and be a social butterfly and keep an open mind but don't lose your class.

5. Insecurities and extra baggage! Past is the past. You need to drop everything at the door and forget the drama. High school is over with and you need to grown up. Learn to be strong and walk tall.  You can't have people walk over you because that will only bring you down and will make you feel more insecure about yourself. Who wants to feel like crap? Point is, move on and do whatever makes you happy. People would rather see you happy then a grump.

6. Bring back hobbies. I have plenty! I continue to enjoy being creative and crafty! Even take new ones! There are so many places locally that you can attend. Take new classes, go to different events, group meets ups. Sports especially are fun! Be active and meet new people.

7. Don't let anyone interfere with your dreams. Do what you want to do and brush off the haters that try to stop you. I've dealt with my issues with people telling me what I should do with me life and to change my priorities. You need to decide how you plan your life and do what makes you happy! Live higher to everyone else's expectations and you will go far.

8. Speak to the professionals! Stress, Depression, and Anxiety are topics I'm sure a lot of us can relate. I feel like this is a great time to start seeking professional help or have someone you can depend on and talk to. We all have a story and it needs to be heard. Your thoughts and opinion are important! We deal with heartache, relationships, past events, and your behavior are all important factors of what can make you upset. You need to clean your mind and use your voice. You don't want to be a downer all the time, that's a horrible feeling. :( Don't have the money to spend on it? School counseling and different talk groups are helpful and do great work!

I had fun doing this piece. Reminiscing some moments in my life. Learn from your mistakes.

“You realize that our mistrust of the future makes it hard to give up the past.”
